The dual power supply control cabinet is mainly composed of a dual power automatic switching device, which can automatically switch between the common power supply and the backup power supply as needed to ensure the reliability and continuity of the power supply.

It is widely used in high-rise buildings, postal and telecommunications, industrial and mining enterprises, shipping and other important places that require uninterrupted power supply.

When the common power supply suddenly fails or has a power outage, the dual power supply switch automatically switches to the backup power supply (the backup power supply can also be powered by a generator under small loads), so that the equipment can still operate normally. The most common ones are elevators, fire protection, monitoring, lighting, etc.

Classification of dual power automatic transfer switches: ATS and STS. STS is a static switch, also called a static transfer switch, which is an automatic switching system for power supplies.
ATS is an automatic transfer switch. ATS is mainly used in emergency power supply systems to automatically switch the load circuit from one power supply to another (standby) power supply.
 

Working conditions of dual power switching cabinet:

1. Ambient air temperature: The upper limit of the ambient air temperature is +40°C, the lower limit of the ambient air temperature is -5°C, and the average value of the 24h ambient air temperature does not exceed +35°C.

2. Altitude: The altitude of the installation site does not exceed 2000m.

3. Atmospheric conditions: The relative humidity of the atmosphere does not exceed 50% when the ambient air temperature is +40°C; there
can be higher relative humidity at lower temperatures; the monthly average relative humidity in the wet month is 90 %,
while the monthly average maximum temperature of the month is +25℃, and the condensation that occurs on the surface of the product due to temperature changes is taken into account.
