GCS low voltage switch cabinet

 

1 Overview

 

GCS series combined low-voltage switch cabinet (hereinafter referred to as GCS complete switch cabinet). It is suitable for power systems with AC 50~60HZ, rated working voltage AC 380V, rated insulation voltage 660V, 1600KVA and below distribution transformers as power distribution, power, lighting, reactive power compensation, and motor control centers, and is designed in a standard cabinet A hybrid system of fixed solutions and extraction solutions to meet the different needs of users.

 

2 Conditions of use

2.1 The ambient air temperature is not higher than +40℃, and the average temperature within 24 hours is not higher than +35℃ and not lower than -5℃;

2.2 The air is clean, and the relative humidity does not exceed 50% at a maximum temperature of +40°C. A higher relative humidity is allowed at lower temperatures, such as 90% at +20°C;

2.3 There is no risk of fire, explosion, severe dust, chemical corrosion and severe vibration;

2.4 The altitude does not exceed 2000m;

2.5 The switch cabinet is suitable for transportation and storage at the following temperatures, -25℃~+55℃, and shall not exceed +70℃ in a short period of time (not exceeding 24h);

2.6 If the above conditions of use cannot be met, the user and the manufacturer shall negotiate and resolve the problem.

 

3 Structural features

The basic frame of the switch cabinet is a modular assembly structure, all connected by screws. Together with doors, partitions, brackets, busbars, drawers and electrical components, a complete switch cabinet has the following characteristics:

3.1 The outer dimensions of the frame and parts and the opening size vary according to the module E = 20mm;

3.2 Since all structural components of the frame are tightly connected with screws, welding deformation and stress are avoided, accuracy is improved, it has strong versatility, good applicability, and high mechanical strength, fully meeting the requirements of the switch cabinet. Various performance requirements and changes;

3.3 In the MCC scheme, the interior of the switch cabinet is divided into three areas (rooms), the busbar area, the electrical equipment area and the cable area, and the three areas are separated by steel plates to ensure the normal operation of the circuit and effectively prevent the expansion of faults. When the drawer When the cabinet is pulled out, no live parts in the cabinet are exposed, which is safe and reliable;

3.4 In the PC solution, the manual mechanism of the AH and ME circuit breakers protrudes outside the door. When operating by hand, there is no need to open the door panel, which is safe and convenient;

3.5 In the fixed solution, it not only retains the simplicity, practicality, and low price of the fixed solution, but also has the same appearance as a drawer cabinet. The interior is also divided into a busbar area, an electrical equipment area, and a cable area, and all three areas are also used. Steel plate separation or insulation plate separation is safe and reliable, and is an ideal equipment to replace the old domestic fixed products;

3.6 The drawers of MCC cabinets have four standard sizes, which are 200, 300, 400, and 600. They are lightweight in structure, easy to assemble, and have high dimensional accuracy. The four standard sizes can be changed according to the design and user requirements. The drawer unit has good It is interchangeable and has a working position and a separation position, and the handle can be locked by a padlock in the specified disconnection position;

3.7 This switch cabinet is designed for two power supply types: three-phase four-wire and three-phase five-wire power distribution systems. The neutral bus N wire and the protective grounding bus PE wire are installed on the bottom side of the cabinet, and the outlet end uses a bus bar. connection, making it very convenient for users to connect cables;

3.8 In order to ensure reliable continuity of grounding, all common parts such as drawer guide rails in the cabinet are galvanized;

3.9 Without reducing the protection level of the shell, a natural ventilation mesh cover should be installed on the switch cabinet.

In short, this switch cabinet adopts a structure that imitates advanced foreign cabinet frames, has high mechanical strength and a high degree of standardization. It is overall in line with the IEC439 international standard and the GB7251 national standard. Its protection level meets the IP3X in GB4208, and the requirements are equivalent to IP30 in IEC529.
